3. Responsibilities and Implementation

Designated senior management is responsible for the overall implementation of this policy. All employees are responsible for adhering to its principles and procedures.

Archway Facilities will monitor, evaluate, and report on its environmental performance to ensure the effectiveness of this policy and drive continuous improvement.

4.1 Monitoring of Environmental Performance

We will implement a monitoring system using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including:

  • Greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1, 2, and 3) in tonnes of CO₂ equivalent
  • Energy consumption
  • Water consumption
  • Waste generation and recycling rates
  • Sustainable procurement spending
  • Environmental incidents
  • Resource efficiency metrics

Data will be collected using:

  • Energy and water meter readings
  • Waste tracking systems
  • Supplier documentation
  • Travel and transport records

4.2 Evaluation and Internal Audits

Management will review the Environmental Management System annually considering:

  • Changes in legislation
  • Stakeholder feedback
  • Audit results
  • Opportunities for improvement

Internal audits will be conducted at planned intervals by trained personnel and corrective actions will be implemented where necessary.

4.3 External Verification

  • Maintaining or pursuing ISO 14001 certification
  • PAS 2060 carbon neutrality verification by an independent third party
  • Participation in relevant environmental reporting frameworks

4.4 Reporting and Communication

  • Internal reporting of environmental data and audit findings
